DURABILITY

We will not construct SIREWALL to achieve less than 3,000 psi compressive strength (which is comparable to typical concrete). Where the design warrants it, we can customize the SIREWALL mix designs to achieve strengths comparable to high strength concrete (7,000+ psi).

The average wood-frame building, subject to rot and pests according to The Canadian Standards Association lasts between twenty-five and forty-nine years. Engineer, Chris Vollen states, "it's not unreasonable to expect a SIREWALL structure with a roof over it to last over 1,000 years".
